A superhero identity for a nonprofit supporting families affected by childhood cancer.
Super Joey Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity inspired by Joey, a courageous four-year-old known as “Super Joey” at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Headquartered in Los Angeles, the foundation runs regular programs at Ronald McDonald House and is active in 20 cities across the U.S. The rebrand keeps Joey’s perseverance at its heart, with a young superhero character that says every child fighting cancer is a superhero. A graphic mark paired with a wordmark makes the identity easy to share and built for social media, carrying the foundation’s message: no child fights cancer alone.
